I am looking at some titles to add to my SFC collection. Any suggestions ^^

Please don't suggest the obvious or super expensive titles. I know what most of the expensive titles are and can't afford them atm

my collection so far has

Slayers
Musya
Starfox
Majyuuou
Super Ghoul's and Ghosts
Super Castlevania 4
Breath of Fire
Legend of Zelda : LTTP
Wizardry V
Elnard
Ushio to Tora
Samurai Spirits
Yoshi's Island
Super Metroid
Bahamet Lagoon

I know its not a big collection but I love looking for new games.

I'm really interested by those kind of Supernatural Platformers like Musya, Majyuuou and Ushio to Tora so any similar suggestions to those games would be great.
I also love a good RPG, though the ones which are text heavy *FF series* I am waiting to buy since they are text heavy >.>

Thanks for any and all suggestions :P

Front Mission: Gun Hazard is awesome. i guess front mission is a strategy series but that one's a sidescrolling platform shooter with upgradable mechs.

ganbare goemon 2
Rockman and Forte
Gundam Wing: Endless Duel

The Firemen = a game about firemen, they aren't many of those around.

R2 Rendering Ranger = Awesome, it's like Super Turrican and Contra on steroids. Don't be fooled by the Ebay listings for $400+, this game can be found for $50 or less.

Would love to see where you get that price quote from. I've searched for awhile and couldn't find anything cheaper than £145

ganbare goemon 2
Rockman and Forte

I'll look at these.

I wouldn't call those games obscure.

I'd suggest Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon R, those are pretty fun beat 'em ups in style of Final Fight.

As for RPGs I'd suggest Hourai Gakuen no Bouken, Magic Knight Rayearth, Madou Monogatari or Emerald Dragon, though you might want to get those on repro carts with the translated versions.

And if you want to go really obscure, seek out Dezaemon - Not really a game, but a program to make your own shmups.

There's a pretty sweet game called Marvelous (can't recall JP name). It's very Zelda/Secret of Mana-ish. A tad text heavy, but excellent.

Eeeeh, as Sailor Moon games go, the beat 'em ups all felt fairly dull/generic to me, with the exception of the arcade game. Only home game I'd seek out would be Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: Another Story; the SFC RPG (where, obviously, you'd want to seek out a translated version)

It's especially Zelda-ish when you realize it was the first game directed by Eiji Aonuma, who now heads up the Zelda franchise ;D I remember a few years ago this was one of the last games SNES emulators still had trouble playing, though I won't be surprised if that's been figured out by now.

Lambadelta, follow this link, then check the games in the SNES/SFC section, you might find a nice obscure SFC game. Don't have time to look myself

There was a translation project going on for a long time, but it's pretty much been abandoned :(

Also, I forgot that I had this thread bookmarked.
