Can't wait to play some SimCity :> (haven't played any in the series before lol)

I don't think Little Samson was released on Virtual Console. Somebody said they played on their Wii but I think they were referring to an emulator. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure the price would not be so high if it was so easily available to download.

I have a modded wii with all of the retro games so that's how I played Little Samson.

Aah, sorry for the confusion. I just assumed that playing an NES game on the Wii meant Virtual console.

And here's today's haul, while my post is the latest:

All are SCN/EEC Pal B releases. I can finally play Journey to Silius with the soundtrack at the right speed, unlike with my NTSC cart I already had. Sunsoft sure knows how to make great music.

Garage sale, 5 bucks.  Meh.

edit: just saw that Luigiu's Mansion goes for like 30 bucks now.  On to eBay it goes.  Glad I grabbed it since it's a dupe for me. Woot!

Sunsoft is one of my favorite developers on the NES for that reason!

Yes, as Arseen said, we live in the land of polar bears and killer mammoths. Once, a møøse bit my sister...

Some local collectors only want original Finnish releases, but I'm not that picky - but I do want PAL B area games (rest of europe sans UK and Italy, which are PAL A.) Even though my NES is modded and can play NTSC games, they run 16% slower and sometimes it can be a bit annoying. I only buy NTSC if a game is only released in NTSC or I simply can't find a PAL B version.

That's why I was never satisfied playing the NTSC Journey to Silius, since it has such great music and it was very jarring to hear it slowed down. Although I did buy Ninja Gaiden (released under the name Shadow Warriors here - I guess ninja's were a bad word since the word got also changed in Turtles - it became Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles) and the music is slower, but the game becomes a bit easier since stuff isn't flying your direction in such speeds.

Grats on Journey to Silius, I think I mentioned that I love that game for the music in your show and tell thread. By the way around the internets, there is a lot of video game collectors in Finland, is that just a coincidence or is there a biopyschosocial factor to all this or are you guys just to kewl for skewl?  8)

Co-signs.

One of the most platant character name ridings.
If the character would have been some unknown it would have gotten much lower reviews.

I played a bit of Dragon Fighter and it's definitely worth playing but not worth it's market price.  I traded a bunch of stuff in to the local reseller (that was of no cost to me) so I was able to get my cost on it down to a reasonable number.

BB2 and PR I paid pretty well market prices for, however, I tried to not pay market about 6 months ago and should have then as they keep going up.

I've got a copy of Power Blade 2 on the way actually but again paid Market value.  There was one on ebay this morning for $210 which is the lowest BIN I've seen on it in a while.  You should grab it or put in an offer.  I'd get it ASAP if you want it as it's not getting cheaper.  Could have paid $120 for last summer but didn't because I thought it was too expensive.  I got mine off a guy on NA since most ebay sellers won't put a low value for customs when shipping to Canada so I get hit with a brokerage fee and 13% tax.

I would have cried if I had to pay 13% when Little Samson and Flintstones 2 came in.

I bought EVO for $120 instead of PB2 last summer which turns out OK as it has skyrocketed in price as well.
