I don't know if these qualify as pickups, but ... my dad called me and said he'd found some of the old games that we had already thought lost forever. My mom had some old PS games stored up and my dad had some, and now the other half has been found. My mom and my sister are currently blaming each other on who has lost the other game stash (which includes according to my memory Crash Bandicoot 2, Spyro 1&2, Final Fantasy VII and VIII and Croc). But here are at least some discoveries. FF9 game discs are the cool variety which features japanese artwork of the characters too. |

Was at my local thrift shop today. Found some goodies on my lunch break. Found Donkey Konga for $3.90 - didn't come with controller, but had 2 memory cards Found a DS case for Contact, but inside was Mario & Luigi Partners in Time. Since it had the wrong game, they only charged me $1.90 I went back after work and saw a N64 game upside down behind the counter. I almost passed because experience told me it would be a sports game. But I hunted an employee down and asked to see it anyway. You can imagine my surprise when I found this..... Paper Mario for $1.90. I grabbed it. Went to the register and immediately checked out before someone could raise the price...not that they would, but I was paranoid at this point. lol A good day overall. |
