While it is possible they knew it would work on PC as well, this store has a reputation for having no idea what they sell.  This is the same place I bought Mega Man Legends 1 and 2 for 45 cents each, and where in the last 6 months I have doubled my Genesis and PS1 collections for ridiculously cheap prices.

All in all, if they knew this was a 360 controller, it would have been at least $10 or $15.  My guess is they saw the USB cored and immediately assumed PC.

Forgot to take a pic and ive already shelved everything.

Went to the annual glebe (small area in downtown Ottawa Ontario Canada) garage sale today.  Despite 100s of garage sales it's mostly junk and very hard to find good gaming deals as there are lots of people in the area who collect and resell games.

This year I got l:

Windwaker for gamecube - $5 (second copy but it's a cover variation)
Tork: Prehistoric Punk xbox - $5
Half Life 2 xbox - $5
The Warriors xbox $1
21 jump street - blu ray $3 (love this movie - can't wait for the second one)
Kids - VHS $1 - great movie!  Need to get a VCR now.
Also got a few VHS Disney movies for 25 cents each.  Starting to collect these for any future mini Mojoes (I want 3 kids eventually.  People tell me I'm crazy.   I'll let the dads on the form chime in :)

Also found 2 brand new adjustable bar stools for the kitchen island for $60 for the pair.  Still had the price tags on them.  Good thing about this sale is that lots of rich people live in the area so some have nice stuff that they just want to get rid of.  Fiancé was very happy about this purchase.

We had to carry them pretty far back to the car but luckily they weren't too heavy.  Oh wait! Fiancé found some dumbbells she wanted so I had to put those in my bag and carry a chair. :)

Got Darksiders II for PS3 for about $6 from GameFly.
Went to Bullmoose (local Cd, Movie, Game store) and saw PSP Lunar Collector edition used for $20.  Upon opening the case there was no disc so they just gave me the rest of it for free. ;D

Other than that I got Batman Year One BR/DVD, True Blood SSN 5 BR/DVD, Game of Thrones SSN 1 BR/DVD, 30 Seconds to mars new CD, Daft Punk's new CD and a few other things that slip my mind. All gotten with credit....still have about $200 in credit.

 Weeded out Movies drastically.

I decided to go garage saling this morning and completely struck out. After a dozen sales I threw in the towel and hit up a couple pawn stores I hadn't been into yet.

The first one had this:

On any other day I wouldn't even give it a second glance, but YukonCornelius' recent cover compelled me to offer $3 (which was accepted).

At another shop they had a bunch of N64, Dreamcast, Sega Genesis, and Master System games on a shelf behind the counter. When I asked to rummage thru them the guy felt compelled to disclaim that "there were no valuable games in there". And if there we're, one of his employees would have let him know, because "he knows everything about everything".

I thanked him for his disclaimer and asked to see them anyways. They were $3 each, but I asked if he'd take $10 for four and he agreed. After $20:

I just watched your video. You had some goodies in there. How much did you spend?

And The Freshman was a great 90's single from the Verve Pipe. If you ever turned on a radio in 2000 I'm sure you've heard it.

$3 each at another pawn shop:

Plus I found an old fat PS1 to mod when my clear case arrives. The guy had a stack of them marked for $20 each but he accepted my offer of $12 for one.
