There are other ways to tell, but if that works for you, awesome! Make sure to look out for 5 screws instead of the usual 3, also, carts without the clips on top likely have a converter. If you pry the cart apart slightly, not enough to damage it anyway, but just enough to get a peak inside, you can also see that there's no "legs" for a chip, which is usually a dead give away that it has a converter. --- End quote --- --- Quote from: BenG76 on May 09, 2013, 03:08:57 PM ---You don't need to weigh the carts. Just check out this page it explains how to check them. http://www.classicplastic.net/dvgi/editorials-davidnesconvert.html --- End quote --- Ah, good to know. I'm sure I'll find a use for the scale otherwise. In fact, I already know what I'll use it for... |

My ability to retain what I read is EXTREMELY selective. I'm sure I read it, but as it wasn't pertinent to me at the time, so it leaked right back out :P Some in the mail, some from Craigslist, some from a local shop. :P |
| Spoonman:
Picked up these 2 at my local shop today. Complete and in great shape. |

Finally done the expensive set of Taito games that were released towards the end of the NES life. |
