Well I'm a long time lurker first time poster. After seeing Wiggy's posts over on CAG for the last few months and seeing his work with the many covers he made, it inspired me to try my hand a making a few of my own.

Heres what they look like printed out.


For these covers, I wanted to have a universal style for all of my Genesis games. As many of you surely know, the amount of different styled Genesis covers was quite large and they honestly don't look all that good on a shelve. I decided to base mine on the original style for Genesis games, and the one that the Megadrive ended up using for quite a while.

All of these started with the base template made by BadChad posted here. I've been tweaking it a bit and making it work for my own needs. As can be seen on a few of these some of the logos have been resized as I go and some of my earlier ones do have a bit of a different look. Glad I can share these as I was quite surprised with how nice they looked printed out.

I also have to throw a thanks out to Wiggy for sharing some of his vectored logos with me. I'm uploading a few quick so people can get an idea but later tonight I have about 10 more to upload that I have finished. Also thank you to the many artists that have uploaded nice artwork onto the internet. They make for some really nice covers.

Those are some great cases. There have been many request for Grindstormer. I'm sure that cover will make a lot of people happy. My personally favorite is the Phelios cover.

Thanks for the positive remarks guys. I'll be making a few more next time I get some free time. Probably will take care of some more common games like the Sonics, and I have an Earthworm Jim underway, just can't figure out what I want to do with the logo.

The Genesis spine logo? I personally think it would look nice as a vector outline placed horizontally on the bottom.  Free up some space and clean it up a bit so that the titles pop even more

Well actually the Earthworm Jim logo, I've been having trouble with how I want to position it, but I do like your idea with the Genesis spine logo, I'll have to see how that looks.
