Man, totally vac-formed.  I can't get behind that  :-\

That lip around the edge is so wide and I know it'll be super prone to bending and breaking :(

after looking at the pics and knowing they are not the same size as the UGC and they remind me of those VHS boxes from the 90's i am going to stick to the UGC and just make the mods to make my NES fit

I've already cased up most of my collection in UGC's, so there is no turning back for me now.. ;)

Same here.  200 modded cases...if I switch now, all will be for naught

I have not cased my collection as of yet but it has been on my mind to do so. I have well over 500 NES games.  I do have concerns about these cases durability as others do. Also I have not seen a price yet unless I missed it. I just asked again on Facebook. What about the Onion cases? Are they actually going to happen? If they are now is the time to get moving on them.

I'm not a fan of the branding on the inside.

Yeah, really tempted when these come out to get just enough for the Disney NES games and make "Black Diamond" Classics style covers.

Well no answer on price. It would be nice to know a ballpark price range on these. If the price was right I would think about them possibly. I posted a question about price around 6 hours ago and no reply. They replied to my other questions within minutes. So that makes me think these may be pricey or they are not sure yet. ::)

I believe they've been saying less than $1 a pop for a while now (which I assume means .90-.99)

OK I didn't see it on there. I have been casing some of my SNES stuff recently with UGC's. I may just use those to keep stuff uniform. Cost may factor in for me as well since I hope to case the majority of my games eventually.

I actually really dig the look of these. But just like the VHS vac-formed cases, I can't help but believe that in a few years they'll look like crap with dents and breaks.

I'm not a fan of "soft cases" ie: disney vhs cases.  While the UGC is not perfect, its still a far better solution at this time.
