n64 repair

Spoonman:
I got one recently.  Actually it was an auction with DK64 and the expansion pak that I got for $25. So it was a great deal.  But my point is they are $25 now. But are considerably rarer than the jumper pak. And the one I got seems to work OK but the system takes a few tries to start up now (as opposed to when I had a fresh jumper in there). So, if more quality ones continue to not be produced, my fear is we may be looking at higher prices for these in the near future.
Polygon:
Well, sure. If supply drops but demand stays they same that's a given. However, I think we're seeing inflated prices right now. I expect them to come down in the future. That being said, $20-$25 isn't terrible. And I saw one going for $6. Try different sources and I'll bet you'll find an even better price.
FFXIK:
By the way.  Did you have any luck with the N64?
destindude04u:
yeah true at times you can get a deal on one but has anyone thought about attempting to make one them self?
wiggy:
Make what?  An expansion pak?
