Which is why I tend to avoid ANYTHING 3rd party.

Yes. And so do I. BUT if my Nintendo expansion pak were to stop working and I wanted one NEW without paying a lot of money... I just wish there were quality ones being made now.

You don't have to pay a lot of money. I've seen plenty of 1st party expansion paks for reasonable prices even on eBay.

Official n64 Expansion Paks go for around 20 to 35 bucks, the last time I checked.
