On my local retro gamer facebook page, we have a rule that any sale posts require a price and picture.  Otherwise they are deleted almost immediately.  None of this "make me an offer" bullshit.

What's funny is when you do make an offer and they act offended. I don't shy away from them though. It doesn't require much of my time to make an offer and enough people accept them to make it worth it for me.

I know this isn't universal, but every time I see someone say "make an offer" they are expecting way too much.  I won't pay market value for almost anything, so people usually get kinda pissy with me when I tell them if they want going rate to go on eBay.

True, vast majority of make an offer people have unrealistic expectations. Meeting someone on craigslist is a hassle and I prefer to avoid it unless it's an excellent deal. Ebay is retail price, but it's just so easy and convenient.

Here's some more typical stupid craigslist ads that will likely get relisted repeatedly for months and months.

Nice little SNES lot, but the price is just retarded.

Another guy who's listed a bunch of CIB NES games for way more than they're worth.
