This...I...who would SELL this?

Oh, and I asked.  He is basically charging market value, a little higher for some due to "excellent condition".  But, to be fair, he did imply the more you buy the more you save.

Aero Fighters...damn.

He originally had this posted at $500...which at first I thought was his total for the lot.  Sadly, I was mistaken.   :'(

I HATE when people list things with "make me an offer".  No, that's your job.   Set a price, and then the buyer will negotiate.  So lazy.

On my local retro gamer facebook page, we have a rule that any sale posts require a price and picture.  Otherwise they are deleted almost immediately.  None of this "make me an offer" bullshit.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

What's funny is when you do make an offer and they act offended. I don't shy away from them though. It doesn't require much of my time to make an offer and enough people accept them to make it worth it for me.

I know this isn't universal, but every time I see someone say "make an offer" they are expecting way too much.  I won't pay market value for almost anything, so people usually get kinda pissy with me when I tell them if they want going rate to go on eBay.

True, vast majority of make an offer people have unrealistic expectations. Meeting someone on craigslist is a hassle and I prefer to avoid it unless it's an excellent deal. Ebay is retail price, but it's just so easy and convenient.

Here's some more typical stupid craigslist ads that will likely get relisted repeatedly for months and months.

Nice little SNES lot, but the price is just retarded.

Another guy who's listed a bunch of CIB NES games for way more than they're worth.

Yes, but the idea behind these fake ads is to lure people to email that address, which will prompt a response ad to some bogus website or auction site to get the deal.  While one could argue the logic behind tempting fate on a "too good to be true" $200 PS4 with 6 games, what nimrod is going to be tempted by THIS!?

They are probably hoping for people who email them asking if they are crazy or trying to prove how overpriced the game is.  Either way, they get email responses.

Or it could be legit! Some people seem to believe that things are worth more just because they 'took good care of it'

I had someone try to sell me an N64 with no cables or controllers for 120 dollars using that logic.
