One time I saw someone offering to trade a XBone for in-home dental treatments on my local Craigslist.....1, I wasn't sure who was getting what - did the person listing the offer want the XBone, or were they giving theirs away? - and 2....why would anyone want "in-home dental treatments"? I'll bet this person has moved onto selling Vitas from secluded alleyways now :/

Yeah... I try to stay away from in home dental treatments from Craigslist.
My cover requests:

Jade Cocoon (PS1)
Shovel Knight (3ds/WiiU)

Sellers with high prices that constantly refresh their listings pretty much stink. There are so many of the same ads that have been listed for months that get refreshed everyday.

This drives me crazy as well. I've seen the same ad for a loose NES with two controllers, zapper, and Mario/Duck Hunt listed for $250 for weeks now. Who would seriously be interested in buying that?

Even with all the extras its not worth that much. The Turtle beach headset is probably already broken (they all are), COD games hold no value over time, and sports. Also these go for $190 at gamestop. If i was looking for a 360 i wouldn't even give this guy an offer because reasonable starts at half his asking price.

When I see these types of listings I am tempted to ask what the games are in case they are any good ones but they almost always end up to be shovel-ware.

I'm not sure if this is good or Derp but this made me decide I'm going to stay out of the amiibo game.

I'd personally regard that as a lowball offer myself to be honest.

Sure, it's low based off his asking price, which comes to $80. The 4 games are valued at $60 according to price charting which is based off of internet prices from ebay and amazon. I don't think ebay prices are attractive for a buyer looking on craigslist myself, but lots of CL sellers ask those prices.

I look at the fact that they (sellers) don't have to contend with shipping and handling, ebay fees, or waiting for their money to clear, so personally I think it's a fair offer. Based off of ebay pricing, I could see thinking it's too low, but if, as a buyer, I'm going to spend gas money and time to go put cash in his hand then it's not worth it for me to spend much more than half the online price. I feel the same if I'm trying to sell on craigslist. I don't ask as much as I would on ebay. People just expect to pay less if they have to drive to meet me and hand over cash.

I was just bitching about craigslist, but this morning I felt my dork sense tingling so I decided to take a quick peek and see if anything worthwhile was up. I got these 3 for $60.

It wasn't me.

Couldn't have been. By your statement, it would have had much better formatting, grammar and punctuation. Nice to see though. :)

It wasn't me.

There is a guy making a similar post in my area.  I reposts it every week.  Unfortunately it does nothing to stop the idiots from posting their overpriced crap.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

This is another for the 'derp' category.

I went for a ridealong with a friend who was buying something on Craigslist yesterday. It was for an original fat DS (red), with the original box and manuals, a stylus, a charger, and a cased Mario Kart DS, for 40 dollars, all very clearly shown in the picture they had texted to my friend.

We showed up at the meeting place, and waited. About 15 minutes after the guy was supposed to show up, we got a text message that says, basically "sorry, i just lost the box and game and pen lol"

Then, a second message - "would you do 35 for just the ds"

We didn't go for it, mainly because he stuck hard to 35.

There's a special place in hell for those people. >:(
