Offered the guy $150 for the lot and then he edits his add to say he has an offer of $150 ... kind of a dick move IMO.

I want to email him back and tell him to fuck himself but I also want to get the lot for $150 .. I figure I can resell what I already have and get some carts I want for free.

He updated it again saying his new offer was at 180...just seems like hes using it as a sort of replacement for ebay and that hes just going to keep on waiting till he gets what he really wants.  I doubt hed sell anytime soon...maybe in a few days when he hasnt gotten any other offers

He replied telling me that he had offers of $180 and $160 ... I told him no thanks.

The carts I would have kept are  Contra III, SSF2, F Zero, and Daffy Duck ... they are all pretty common so I'm not going to bend over backwards to try and get them.

Odds are a local reseller will get them and I'll see them re-posted at eBay BIN prices by tomorrow.

Can't wait for Spring when I can start yard sales again!

I picked these boxes with no games up. If anyone wants me to scan anything or wants some boxes hit me up. A lot of the boxes are complete minus the game. Unfortunately, Killer Instinct doesn't have a manual or Killer Cuts, but everything else is there.

I have a few things on CL right now, and of course I get these two spam emails as soon as the listings went up.  The ol "I'll send you a certified check, then I will pick the item up later.  I will write the check for XXX over the amount, you just need to send back..." bullshit.

So, I figured I'd troll the shit out of this asshole.  So far I've given him 5 different addresses to send the check to because "I can't remember which one is the correct address", and have been offering other non-existent products to him for a "great price", and all sorts of other BS.  I'll see how long I can string him along.

Blumpkin, if you go for it, I'm interested in buying some of the games you don't want from the lot to recoup some of the expense. Just waiting for my end of year bonus to cash out. I've got a list of my really small n64 collection in my sig below, so I'm pretty much interested in anything I don't have.

Normally it wouldn't be anything jumping for. But given the excellent condition of the box and everything I think that it's a rather good deal. You could always start with an offer of $60 too, but even $75 seems pretty good.

The condition is what really caught my eye too. I really don't NEED a NES. I have the Retroport NES adapter for the SNES already and that works fine but again, this just stood out to me because not a lot of 30 year old boxes still look like that
