Overpricing at thrift stores doesn't bug me as much as inconsistent pricing. I visit a few Goodwills on a pretty regular basis and one day they have a Gamecube (or Xbox, or whatever) for $4.99 then the next they have another for $39.99. They get all of this stuff for free so all systems should be set at one price. It's the same way with everything they get, it's so frustrating.

They do not know what is what at thrift stores. When I see a system, the chords are sometimes priced separately. I normally say they go with the system and they get tossed together for free. When I found a GB Player with no disc, there was a Gamecube else were with the disc in it, and they tossed it in, $6, woo. I had to carry the disc a few blocks to Gamestop with no case though. I got a spare DVD case from GS for free.
Sometimes if I'm in there and see a chord that goes with a system loose, and I'm not buying it, I stick it together for who ever does.
Once or twice they bundled something that does not, I got a Xbox with a PS2 controller, and a Tomb Raider 3 manual with a sealed Tomb Raider Last Revelation. The clerk normally does not care, sometimes they ask the manager, most of the time, if it looks similar, they will do it. A blender does not go with a pair of pants.

In other news. Been looking at this.

$180, been there for months. Maybe.

The Good:
I offered a copy of Resident Evil on PS1 on Craigslist (Missing Manual), some guy gave me a working Dreamcast in exchange for it. :D

The Bad:

Dreamcast Bundle for $275 Seriously, why the hell do people charge eBay prices on a site that's ment for meet and pickup?
That just annoys the crap out of me.

Yeah, If I want eBay prices, I'll go to eBay.

Sims 3 Lot.
$380, takes no offer lower than $345, so it's $345. Thats about $15 per game, You can find it cheaper online.

Damn, I didn't realize how many expansions The Sims 3 had. EA just milking that franchise.
