There's quite a few derpy ones that post ALL the time in my area. One of them is an SNES for $80, no box, no games, comes with cables and 2 cheap, aftermarket controllers.

This is another one. I can buy Mega Man X2 on ebay right now for $67.99 shipped. Why would I drive to you and pay $80?

I noticed this one while I was on ebay. If you're into minty cardboard this is a really nice condition CIB mega man x for snes.

I don't mean to spam up the board by posting too much, but it seems like there are a lot of good deals out there right now and I like to share them with you guys and hear feedback. Here are a few ads that have caught my interest recently.

He's willing to take $35 for these so I'll probably meet him this morning. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/vgm/4140101877.html

Digimon World, Mega Man X5 and a few other semi-valuable games are in here. I'm working on this one. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/vgm/4140022344.html

Price for Metroid 2 isn't too bad compared to ebay. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/vgm/4139877822.html

I want this one for its excellent condition, GTA trilogy, and box. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/vgm/4123702540.html

This is a nice thing about not getting one of the next gen systems. It frees up a lot of cash for this stuff.

These two are pretty good at finding deals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnkZjz956yA

Try to piecemeal from this guy if you can. I'm sure $200 is reasonable for all of these games, but there is a LOT of cancer in that lot.

My pockets are empty now, but I got some fun games  :D

First I picked up Mario Kart, Yoshi's Island, Call of Duty 4, and Final Fantasy 3 on DS for $25.

Then I picked up the big lot. 167 games in varying condition, many of them complete, for $175. I would have liked to pick and choose, but he wanted to get rid of the lot so I took everything. I'm pretty happy with it overall. I just separated a lot of the lame sports titles from the good pile and there are a few decent ones left that will be going to the personal collection or I can make some money back on.

Some highlights from the pickup:

Gamecube- Pokemon Coliseum (no manual :'()

PS1- Mega Man X5, Mega Man 8 Anniversary, Mega Man Legends, Spyro Year of the Dragon, Legend of the Dragoon, Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories, Digimon World, Digimon Card Battle, Monster Rancher 2, Bugs Bunny and Taz Timebusters, Ape Escape, Metal Gear Solid

I haven't really dug into the ps2 too much yet, but kingdom hearts and a few other games I need are in there. I will have to go through the lot more and continue organizing the piles more, but I'm satisfied with the deal. I really enjoyed playing all 3 Mega Man games for ps1 for the last 20 minutes and will definitely be playing the crap out of them in the future  :)

I've been lucky to find some good deals this weekend, but I'm on hiatus from buying more games for a little while...

Recently picked up 178 games, mainly ps1 and ps2, in 2 different craigslist deals. I spent $215 for everything in the pics.

I've since organized the games into separate piles of keepers, crap, and resells. If you have an opinion on any of the games I'm on the fence about keeping I'd love to hear what you think. I'm trying to keep the good games that are fun to play and get rid of the crappy games that are boring. I'm not against keeping a cheap game that's considered a filler title if it's fun to play.

I'm keeping these games.

 ps2- keeping these

ps1- keeping these

I'm curious about all of these games, but I'm not sure if they're worth playing. To keep or not to keep. If you have an opinion about any of them I'd like to hear it.

ps2- not sure which to keep

ps1- not sure which to keep. Casper, Gex, and Harry Potter are ones I may give my son to play if they're decent

ps1 games I'm considering for my kid. I know Ape Escape and Bugs n Taz are worth a little more, but I don't know how the gameplay is in any of the games below.

semi-valuable games to resell

poop pile

Most of the ps1 cases were not in perfect condition. I found this box of 200 brand new jewel cases for $20 on craigslist.

This was my ps1 collection before the pickup. I love the new games, but now I have a space issue for the collection. Once again it's outgrown the space I've allocated for it. Time to revamp the setup. Again.  8)

Some good games out of your lesser piles:
Lego Racers 2 - Had it for PC, it was kinda fun, Your car could become completely broken, and you have to do the race on foot.  ;D I liked it. . .

SkyCooper games -Great game, PS2 Classic
Enter The Matrix
Tony Hawk Games
Dynasty Warriors 4 - Fun Co-Op
Fairly Odd Parents - Good Game, THQ was to Nickelodeon as Capcom was to Disney IMO.
Maximo

PS1-
All Crash Games
Gex
Road Rash

Lego Island 2 is great, I loved it when I was younger on PC
Croc 2 - I think Is good

Tak is supposed to be a good kids game, It was made by Nickelodeon

You have burnout revenge and tekken tag in the ps2 poop pile?  Are you mad?  Fantastic games.

IMO you should also give the following a chance:
The getaway
Tony hawk games
Splashdown
Air blade
Dave Mirra bmx 2
Stuntman
Sly cooper
Fur Fighters - viggo's revenge

Crash team racing
Dave Mirra bmx
Cool boarders
MTV snowboarding

I think you did really well with those lots!

FritzWhite: For the PS1, I can vouch for the Crash games, Legend of Dragoon and Ape Escape being good games to hold on to. Not really sure about anything else you may have been on the fence about. For me, the PS2/NGC era had a LOT of decidedly "meh" titles. I know what I liked out of that era, because I bought most of them already, and I don't see anything I own in your piles.

Hey, thanks for the suggestions. Eventually I'll try all of the ones you guys recommend.

Larry: I threw Warriors into the poop pile because the disc is shot. There aren't very many games from the lot in poor condition, but that one is jacked up.

Sheep: I didn't know Tekken and Burnout were good. lol. I'll check em out!

Axel: I hear you on the quality over quantity idea. In the long run I'm probably going to end up selling off the vast majority of the ps2 lot. For some reason a lot of the ps1 games look more interesting so I'll probably hang onto a greater number of those. I like how little space the jewel cases use.

That's one thing I like about some of the collections on TCP and your collection also Axel is when there are nothing but quality, awesome games on the shelf. I don't like the look of a bunch of mediocre games with a few good ones mixed in.

Well, I don't want turds hanging around too long. Looks like I better start testin, playin, and flippin.

Reported her to a mod. Half tempted to go start an argument, but no good ever comes from starting fights on the internet.
