On wednesday I made plans to meet up with someone local to buy his items. Kept constant communication and seemed genuine at least through emails. So I head out a bit earlier then the time planned just so I don't end up being late. Well the time comes and goes and I end up checking my email. Turns out he cancelled 15 minutes prior to us meeting because of his baby acting up. Which is perfectly fine, I understand family comes first. So I told him ok and we had talked about meeting up on thursday at 5.
Well, I emailed him in the morning asking if we were still meeting up. Nothing....in the meantime I noticed that his ad got deleted. So I emailed again a bit later asking again to see what was going on. Nothing again. Even emailed him again this morning.
I'm guessing that he sold it to someone else which is fine but it just annoys me that he can't just man up and tell me instead of just ignoring me after he had decided to sell to me.

I've placed a lot of for sale ads in my life (especially for cars), and I can tell you first hand that it can get pretty tiresome answering questions after the item(s) are gone, especially if they are numerous.

I know...and I hate to be "that guy" that's always annoying but he did agree to sell it to me and even meet up so until he told me he had sold it to someone else I was still under the impression that he would still sell to me :\
This morning was the last email that I sent...in a way I feel that if I didn't that I wasn't trying and that I lost the sale not because I didn't try but because the seller turned his back on our deal. I'd hate to look back and think that I didn't try my hardest.

Yeah...I've been to a couple people's houses to pick up items and I always refused to step inside anyone's home. I don't know these people so I always take some precaution lol. I even tell my sister the address of where I'm going and if she doesn't hear back from me in a certain amount of time to call the cops haha
