So, for the past month or so I've seen a couple ads for gba's for $35 each lot (will post up pics in the pick up thread).  Finally I decided to just email the guy and see if he'd take $50 for both.  He emails me back saying that he has a few systems for sale and that I should go to his house to make a deal...he sends me his address and phone number.  Feeling really uncomfortable with that I almost ignore the email...but I replied back saying that I'd rather meet up in a public place and that I was only interested in the gba's.  I also told him that I won't meet up unless we come to an agreement about price and location.

He replied back pretty quickly and agreed to the amount and also to meet up at a local walmart.  So after I leave work I head over to the walmart and wait for him to come by.  The guy drives up in his car (older man in his late 40's or 50's), doesn't get out and looks nervous as he's looking around...he hands over the gba's in plastic ziplock bags says everything works and drives away almost instantly after I hand him the money.  It almost felt like a drug deal and part of me thinks that if I was any younger or naïve I might have gotten kidnapped or something.

But yeah, as uncomfortable as it was making that deal in a public area, I can only imagine how weird and uncomfortable it'd be at his home...

(also...1 gba doesn't work and at least 1 game isn't loading either :/ but maybe they just need a bit of tlc)

I just got this...$400 for 4 consoles and all games shown.  Will post in the pickups thread, but basically this was a gamer in his 50s who was moving on.  He based his price on what Gamestop would give him.  I actually told him his stuff was worth a bit more, but he said he didn't care.  He was happy to pass on the savings.

One of the things I like about Xbox stuff is that it's undervalued. There are a lot of quality titles for first 2 gens. Sweet pickup! Do you flip or trade some of your pickups or keep everything you find?

Thanks!  I got lucky with this one!
I usually don't buy unless I plan to keep - I'm not a big fan of people who buy strictly to re-sell.  That said, whenever I get a lot this big (especially one that already has duplicates in them) there is bound to be a few things I don't need/want.  So at that point I will probably sell or tade for something that I do need.

This guy is local and super close to me.  I'm actualy in talks with him right now, but I think we are too far away on price.  To be honest, he isn't being super greedy, but it's still more than I can justify right now.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Sweet list of "I'm too lazy to set prices, so you do the work for me (even though they're almost all worth about a buck)"

If you resold them at $1.00 each, you would make a pretty decent profit......... if you could find that many people who want a copy of Combat and don't have one copy (or five) already.

Approximately 295 Atari 2600 Combat carts.
Yes, they are all the same game.
 There all multiple label variations.
There are a few with no labels.
Corner the market on a classic game.

All used with no books and no boxes.

 $100 takes them all.

Trades considered. Mostly looking for old pin@ll machines or arcade games in any condition but all offers considered. I can add cash if your arcade or pin@ll machine is worth more than these games.
