also beat megaman 1 whereas the clay dude (wily stage 1) used to end me.

The clay dude was a pain.  I managed to beat him this time without the select / pause trick.

Yellow Devil. It's called the Yellow Devil. And it is, indeed, demonic. The Shadow Devil in Mega Man X5 isn't much better (especially if you're using Zero). But the Rainbow Devil I made my bitch.

Mega Man...  Any of them.  I really suck at Mega Man games for some reason.  But, then again, I kinda suck at a lot of other games too.   :D

BattleToads

Ah, yeah. I think the hoverbike level is pretty much impossible to beat legit. The only way to beat the game was with the use of cheats.

They get easier from 3 on since you can just farm E tanks.

I beat Battletoads as a kid, it was one of my proudest moments ever. I also beat all the Mega Man games from 1-5. However I have a few I could never beat:

- Shadowgate. I loved this game, it had such a great atmosphere and haunting music. I got stuck to the part where the troll demands payment the second time. I think what had me stuck was the little room near the beginning with the arrow and the secret passage (to the bridge -> wraith etc.) where I just didn't figure out that I had to pull the other torch. None of my friends knew it either so I remember being hugely frustrated with being stuck in the game.

I even wrote the local Nintendo magazine (since they had a question & answer column) but I don't think my letter was ever answered. Then I just forgot about it.

- Star Tropics. The later levels were just too hard. I remember that I had a borrowed copy of the game and panicked since I didn't have the original paper slip with the submarine code. I think I got stuck on the part with the sea maze and the meteorite (?).

- Batman. I got to the Joker several times but he killed me every time.

- Legend of Zelda. It was just way too confusing with the dungeons and huge world map. I remember that this was probably one of the first games I ever played on the NES, we rented it from a video game store for the weekend. I beat the first boss (dragon) but was totally stuck after that. To this day I still haven't beaten it, I plan to do it someday.

Two games that I really enjoyed and remember getting pretty far in, were Crystalis and Castlevania 2.  But I got bored or got something new and stopped playing them.  And I just never went back.  I remember getting especially far in Crystalis, I just never bothered to finish.  I was the same with Dragon Warrior until a few months ago.

Who framed roger rabbit - I could get to the final boss no problem and get his health down halfway but after that I could never do any thing to him.  One of the most frustrating moments which lead me to give up on that game.

Cobra Triangle - never could get passrd a few certain levels since it became super hard...managed to beat it though with an emu and save states

Sonic Spinball - lol always managed to reach the final boss but always got knocked back down forcing me to redo whatever things I had to do.  Got to a point that I just didnt care anymore

Another one that I think gets overlooked is Bart vs The Space Mutants.  Bart vs the World was tough, but manageable.  Space Mutants was so unforgiving with its platforming that after so many years playing it I gave up and to this day I refuse to play it.

I always manage to beat every game that I play but I never find everything. I always wonder how people beat games AND find all of the hidden areas and bonuses. I get pissed. lol. However, I played N64 Superman for the first time last year and I can't seem to fly very well. I threw my damn controller. I can't seem to beat the timer. lol. I'm stuck at the beginning. ?#@!

Conker's Bad Fur Day is tough to me. I have trouble controlling Conker. I made it to the vampires but I stopped playing it.

SM3 was easy to me. I loved that game until Donkey Kong Country came out.
Ninja Gaiden? never played it but it sounds like it's tough to beat. I was never a fan of those kung-fu style games. I suck at this fighting genre. I can't even win those boxing games. I can't even win at ClayFighter. damn!  :D

DKC is my second favorite series all time, after Twisted Metal. DKC has a few levels that always cause problems for me. I hate that saw blade level in DKC 3 and the swimming race. I always beat them but they give me trouble.

This game.  It is ridiculous how many hours I played this game trying to beat it when I was a kid.  Since I didn't have much money, I was stuck with the few games I had.  This was the only (GB) game I had that I could never beat.  I tried again a couple of years ago but obviously I was way better at those types of games back in the day.  Alas, this may have to stay on the list of games I'll never be able to conquer.

I recall MM1 feeling impossible as a kid until I learned the cheat to beat the rock dude.  That's the one game I recall feeling totally defeated by as a kid :(

I remember when I was a kid, maybe 6 years old, my parents bought me Final Fantasy for NES. No matter what I did, I couldn't beat Garland (the first boss! Lol) for the life of me.

I picked it up a few years later and beat him on the first try. And then went on to beat the game a week or 2 later and this begun my love for RPG's

The only game I have not been able to beat was Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. I would get to the evil lab and never get passed it.

Other than that, instead of not being able to beat games, I just get extremely tired of games before I beat them and end up quit playing them. (The last remnant, final fantasy 10,12.. Final fantasy 13 just blew major balls and I can't beleive I spent $60 on it.)
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!
