GRET topic since I just finished acquiring ALL Metroid titles. One of my favorite video game series of all time but have not played all titles yet. Favorites are the 2 GBA titles. Currently playing through them all in release order (just started, so still on 1st Metroid). I'd like to see the franchise go the way of the Mario games. Maybe a new console title like Prime, but I would more like to see a 3DS title like the New Super Mario Bros. games-- so 3D graphics but in a 2D sidescrolling format. I think that would be awesome. |
