The oldest games I've ever found in flea markets are PS1 ones. But of course the size of the Nintendo market isn't the same in Finland than in the US.

Just buy World Class Track Meet if you want to play this game or just replace it with Stadium Events label and play pretend.

So, the best deal I ever got was at the flee market too! I came upon this old man who had a bucket of Old PC games from the 90's. However, I noticed something blue with strips; a SEGA CD game. I picked it up and it was Lunar Silver Star. It was complete and in perfect condition. The jewel case looked like the shrink wrap just came off. I asked him how much? "One dollar" he said. So, I got Lunar: Silver Star for $1. Other notable deal, boxed copy of Dragon Quest IV for NES $1.50, Panzer Dragoon Saga $5, and Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for $5. All at thrift stores.

Sadly, my best deal was probably a loose Panic Restaurant for $10 about a year ago.  :-\

I think my best score was the complete stock of an old toy store here in austria last year.

Around

88 new NES games
60 new MD games
20 new SNES

new Master System
some new Game Genies
some new Barcode Battlers etc. etc.

Best games I got were several new SNES big box games (Terranigma, SoM, Lufia, etc.),
Demon's Crest, some Probotectors-NES, Metal Gears-NES, etc.

A yes and at another Toy Store

25 sealed Castlevania 2 - GB
15 sealed Rolan's Curse - GB
a new but unsealed Ninja Cop
a new but unsealed Resident Evil Gaiden

I think that will be my best year in retro hauls forever.

This year I only got 10 new GB Micros and 20 or sth new SNES/N64 games.

I didn't pay more than 5 Euros for anthing in my hauls by the way (except for the Micros). ;)
2 + 3 = 23

Sadly...?

When compared directly to yours, BadChad. $10 for a loose cart vs. $5 for on CIB?

Overall still a good deal, but I've gotta recognize, son!

Found this last year - I posted it originally in the garage sale ad - I doubt I'll ever find something this amazing again.

ust bought a full Sega collection off a guy.

He wanted to trade for a VITA or $250 to go buy a Vita.  Other were asking so I offered him $300 which would allow him to buy a VITA ($250 in Canada) and cover the $13% tax as well as have about $20 left over and he accepted.

Here's what I got:

Sega Genesis Model 1 Console with hookups, controllers, and Menacer Gun and Games:

   Shining force I
   Shining force II
   Alicia Dragoon
   Graduis (Japanese cart)
   El Viento (Japanese cart)
   Blades of Vengence
   Arrow Flash
   Battletech
   Wonder Boy III (Japanese cart)
Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle

All but Wonderboy, Alex Kidd, and the Menacer Cart are CIB

Game Gear

   Defenders of Oasis
   X-Men
   Columns
Shining Force the Sword oh Hajya

All cart only with the plastic Game Gear Cases

Sega CD - Front Loading model

   Brutal - Paws of Fury
   Ecco the Dolphin
Ecco II The Tides Of Time
   Android Assault
   D&D Eye of the Beholder
   Popful Mail
   Keio Flying Squadron
   Sol-Feace
Sega Classics - Streets of Rage
   Revenge of Shinobi
   Columns
   Golden Axe
   Road Avenger
   Wing commander
   Lunar The Silver Star
   Lunar II Eternal Blue
   Robo Aleste
   Micky Mania
   Panic!
   Sonic CD
Sonic CD (red, not for resale edition)
   Soul Star
   Battle corps
   Shining Force CD
   Back up RAM cart

90% of these are complete in the big cases

Sega Saturn console with all hookups, 2 controllers, and the 3D controller for Kights

   Virtual On
   Marvel Superheroes
   Primal Rage
   Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
   Wipeout
   Scorcher
Virtua Cop ( with 2 Stunners)
   Virtua Cop II
Nights into Dreams ( with analog controller)
   X-Mas Nights (special promo disk)
   Sonic R
   Crypt Killer
   Scud The disposable Assasin
   Mega Man 8
Space Hulk Vengence of the Blood Angels
   Gun Griffon
   Shining the Holy Ark
   Shining Force III Chapter I
   Tomb Raider
   Burning Rangers
   Night Warriors -Darkstalkers Revenge
   Guardian Heroes

Disappointingly, he did not keep the plastic cases, however he kept the manuals and cover art in perfect shape - will need to go hunting for cheap sports games to make these complete.

Sega Dream Cast - all hookups, 1 VMU

   Phantasy Star Online
   Phantasy Star Online ver. 2
Ecco the Dolphin - Defender of the Future
   Soul Caliber
   Jet Set Radio
   Marvel vs Capcom 2
   Tech Romancer
   Spiderman
   Alien Front Online
   Elemental Gimmick Gear
   Heavy Metal Geomatrix
Capcom vs SNK Millenium Fight 2000
   Virtual On Oratorio Tangram
   Skies of Arcadia

All complete

Neo Geo Pocket Color Blue with speaker / battery dock with box

   Match of the Millenium SNKvsCapcom
   Biomotor Unitron
   Sonic Pocket Adventure
   Metal Slug 1st Mission
   PAC-MAN
   Dark Arms
   Card Fighters Clash Capcom edition

Games came in plastic cases with manuals no boxes

PS1 Console with hookups, controllers and Mem Card

   Playstation
Lunar Silver Star Story - Collector Edition
   Legend of Dragoon
   Wild Arms
   Final Fantasy Anthology
   Brave Fencer Musashi
   Suikoden
   Xenogears
   Small Soldiers
   Lego Racers
   RC Racer
   Thunder Force 5
   Rollcage
   Pocket Fighter
   Bloody Roar
   Project Horned Owl
   Blast Radius
   Omega Boost
   Armored Core Project Phantasma
   Dragon Seeds

95% complete

Fat PS2 Console with all hookups and 130GB hard drive with about 60 games on the hard drive.

Overall probably my best find ever.  I'm having trouble  deciding what to keep and what to sell.

Update - pretty much all of this was sold and the cash spent buying NES and SNES carts.

I think all I kept was:

Dragon Force
Shining the Holy Ark
Guardian Heroes
CIB Backup Cart for Saturn
Nights
3D Controller
