SNAKES ZOMG!!!
:P

Anyways, I've had enough. I am tired of waiting for someone to make covers I need. I did a request at the request forums and some people tried and I am grateful for that, but they failed miserably because of lack of resources or whatever.

It's time to grab hold of cock and be a man. I ain't waiting. I will make my own custom covers! Even though I am a complete noob at this but I will learn.

My question, do all I need is Photoshop or anything else special?

And If nobody answers my question I will figure it out! and I don't care if his momma there, his grandmomma, innocent bystanders, little kids, baby sitters, bill collectors, whatever. I'll leave his whole block filled with hot brass if I have to, and you know why? 'Cause *I JUST DON'T GIVE A F*!

Yep, Photoshop is basically all you need.
I have been thinking of doing some sort of basic cover making tutorial sometime soon when I got some time to spare.

And This:
It's time to grab hold of cock and be a man.
This is my new motto.

You can actually download CS2 from the Adobe website :)
I mean it does say you should only download it if you purchased it but... (I think it should be fine?)

http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/ (it's near the bottom of the list)

I can help you with Twisted Metal 3, TM is my favorite series of games. ee-hee-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-haaaaaaaa!  ;D
I own TM3 and I scanned it along time ago.
my scanner no longer functions but I believe I have plenty of art somewhere from years ago.
I scanned the manual too.
I will make a custom for you but I don't make custom covers and I do not know what is required to be on the box.
I focus on retail reproductions.

I will download the template with the black label and put one together for you.
I need some time to get it done though so please BE PATIENT.
making covers is a long and tedious preocess sometimes and alot of people do it between jobs and familiy life..
I'm in the middle of making four covers, two labels and a manual while designing a website and configuring a wireless network.

I will be back with a TM3 and I will post it in your request thread.
any special requests for it?
for example, I have a scan of the inlay - ball of fire with all of the vehicles in a circle - I could use that for the cover upon request.

Hah, I was just being dramatic, but I am still going to learn how to do photoshop.

Yeah I appreciate it, and I'll be patient.

Here is a sample, the spine and stuff, but it just needs twisted metal 3 stuff on it.

If you have to ask, then don't worry about it :P

mathematically drawn lines/shapes. Like a more intuitive 2D CAR program.

I'm gearing up to post Photoshop tutorials on the cover project. But I was undecided which version of Photoshop the tutorials should be for? The Latest?

okay, Collector, I've started the TMIII cover.
I decided to play with the design a bit.
jeez, the ps1 templates are large; larger than the cd covers.
I decided to drop the purple/indigo color in favor of steel gray.
Ignore some of the artwork as I will be moving objects and creating a different layout.

here is a sample of the cover:
