Earthbound Coming to Virtual Console

dont think the price will go down. Consider it never has been a rare game just one that people feel they need in their collection and then it sits there. Then theres people like me that have new consoles but never buy anything off their virtual stores.

will be interesting either way tho

I am glad people will get to enjoy this title, it's supposed to be shared, not hoarded by resellers and basement barons.

Also! I feel sorry for people who sold their Wii and are retro gamers and want to enjoy this game lol.

This is the first step, next step, bring Mother 3! or make a compilation with Mother 1-3, OR! Make Earthbound 2/Mother 4 OR!!!!!!!! make earthbound merch!

I think it's Wuu only, so that won't really matter.

Neither was/is Symphony of the Night, and look how that played out...

yeah but a 60-70$ game at its peak is not the same as a 200+ $ game at its peak. Its always been more expensive and regarded. Plus its the SNES which most people find more nostalgic and not the ps1

I fully expect it to go down, some, but I am sure it will still remain the in 150$ range
palmer6strings:
I think I'd be more willing to pay $150 for it than $250-300
wiggy:
I'd consider paying 100, but not more than that, for sure. $75 would make it a definite buy.

SotN peaked at 150+ in my recollection. In fact, I sold one for about 125 at some point (somehow ended up with 2 copies. That'll happen when you work used retail).

EB was worth dick for a long time. Wasn't until early 2000's that anyone cared. My first copy cost me like 15 bucks CIB.
