Graphics gurus - looking for a banner design!

Well, you don't have to make that big of a gap, but something like that yeah. I'm just looking for some suggestions about the name and then something else to add to the banner below the title, even if it's just "Gaming Archives" in a nice, computer/game style font.

Alas, there is no way to fit that Satoshi Matrix logo into a 760 wide image without either cropping off the "wing" tips or resizing it down, killing its beautiful sharpness.

Ooh that looks good. Thing is though, I'm not nearly as much a Gradius fan as I am a Megaman/Rockman fan. The Gradius-like logo was just something a fan made up out of the blue and I'd like to use it in some way if at all possible. If it can't fit, then make it the length of the logo designed (add maybe ~3-4 pixels between the i and the M in SatoshiMatrix) x the 200 pixels wordpress wants. I'm pretty sure it can be cropped to fit through wordpress itself.
Maybe Megaman related graphics can be used instead of Gradius? I'd even b e happy with a generic design filled with I dunno, console sprites from this:
