Graphics gurus - looking for a banner design!

This might be a little self adsorbed, but I'm wondering if any graphic artist gurus here might help me with a redesign of my blog. I'm a few days away from publishing the long awaited next entry in my top 100 GameBoy/GameBoy Color editorial series, and thought it might be a good time to clean up the site. I'd like to replace the header and possibly the background as well.

Currently, this is the simplistic header I made

It uses a recolored Megaman 4 side sprite, as well as font actually ripped directly from the get weapon screens of Megaman 4.

Recently, someone on youtube randomly out of the blue sent me a really awesome banner that I'd like incorporated into a new header:

One small change: please add in a tiny bit of space in that logo to change it from SatoshiMatrix to Satoshi Matrix. It's suppose to be two words, not one ;)

For wordpress, headers need to be exactly 760 × 200 pixels.

Currently, the name of my blog is the rather wordy "Satoshi Matrix Retro and Contemporary Gaming Archives" I'm wondering if it should be shortened to just "Satoshi Matrix Gaming Archives" or if anyone has a suggestion for another title, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.

Also, if someone can also make a similar banner for my youtube page that would be great. Youtube wants channel art of 2120 x 1192 and less than 2 MB. That seems huge, but if you guys can help, all the better. Finally, least important, but if anyone wants to design up a youtube user thumbnail as well, that would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance! I'm sure you guys will enjoy my next entry in my top GB editorial very soon!

That is nice logo, reminds bit Gradius.

And I like the long windy name of the blog. ;)

Sweet, Ireally liked the NES one, and can hardly wait SNES one.

Nes one forced me to buy few games... But they were cheap so I carry no ill will against you. :P

SNES/SuFami top 100 will be be around eventually, but it won't be any time soon, maybe two years from now if I had to hazard a guess. Before SNES, I'll be doing Original Xbox, Sega Master System and then probably GBA. SNES and Genesis will be around, but those two are so loaded topics and prices are so high for a bunch of games I haven't played before the validity of such a top 100 would suffer until I get more first hand experience.

Wish I had time. I love doing this stuff.

Actually I think I had never seen that exact logo, the one in my mind was the NES one.
Almost same, but different color.
From which version that logo is?
