There are 3 title types
Post title (your The newbie+) changes with posting (adding stars along the way).
Rank title (my Special Forum Admin) gained by promotion.
Custom title (mine saying Oversight) is gained secret way... ;)

600DPI, moire removal (aka de-screen or de-rasterize) on, super hyper flat and straight, and we'll tell if anything else has to be done to the scan.
Flatness being the major one (and 600DPI, 300 minimum).

Thank you.

I have some scans to upload to see if they are correct but when I try it says the files are too big. How do I correct that?
