I got a request for you. Can you please make a vertical cover of Tiny Toon Adventures Wacky Sports Challenge for SNES? Here are the raw scans.

If no one makes this, I'll make it at the end of next week.

Doh it.

I can give it try too.

It's fruitless for both of us to make the same cover. I don't mind letting you make it if you want to do so. :)  Go for it! Just don't take 20 years.

so only one person should make a cover for a game? I have to crack my knuckles and attack. Tyarnny is asking for war. Now that the term fruitless has been used, I'll be making a retail and custom for this scan and posting it here with a <big&rt; <bold&rt; "kiss someone's ass" poster. I'm not shopping at ONE store and wearing ONE outfit for life and I'm not standing on the sidelines watching wretches run the internet. I'll make a damn cartridge label for it too.

The more makers the merrier.
The more versions we have, the easier is to choose or combine the perfect one. ;)

I tried to edit the front but computer froze and crashed.
I'll go tomorrow to local computer shop and buy some more mermory... that should help.

:) yup, I love the ole Warner Bros. Looney Tunes shorts. Good stuff.
I agree, Sir Arseen, more is better.
I use PhotoImpact not adobe, however, PI allows me to save as psd file. Therefore, I can save objects in adobe format for other members to use. I like the custom cover idea but I prefer retail copies of original artwork. Custom covers are a good idea so I will share my objects too.

hmm. memory is helpful when you need it to open large files but you are still limited by your motherboard. data tranfer rates of hdds are also a factor. I know that you have trouble with your system and I hate the idea of it crashing for you. I only have 1GB ram on this old XP PC and it works just fine. Maybe you have other issues? either way, I can share my objects and maybe you can use them later. If you ever need heavy work done, such as rotating images, please aske me  ;D I'm always willing to help you, you always do so much work in the raw scan department. You're awesome, Sir Arseen.

I'll post my covers/labels when I am finished editing.
I am almost done with the back cover...

Thank you.

I have 1gig computer runnig Windows 7 Ultimate... W7U needs minimum of 1.5gigs... so i think that is my main problem.

I'll upgrade it to 4 gigs and see if that helps.
If not I can always use the memory on my next computer.

Speaking of raws... back to scanner.

23 JAP CIBs and DBZ Hyper Dimension FRA CIB to be scanned.

ja, Win7 is awful with memory. Not to mention the indexing option. I hate that search indexing service, I always kill it and remove all indexing options. Ultimate edition is the best. You're smart, but I already knew it :-D

yes! I am drooling. I cannot wait to get the SFC raws. I want to collect all of the Nipponese scans and clean them up in retail form. I am excited :-D

ja, I need to get back to editing Tiny Toons. I am almost finished with the back (minus screen caps.)
back to work for me too.
I'll check in later.
Have fun, Arseen. Thanks for scanning, you're awesome!

First patch of covers scanned DBZ + 11 JAP ones.

Just must find the correct names, then name the scans and upload.
Should take less than hour depending on net speed.

After that rest JAP covers, then labels and finally manuals.
Manuals might have to wait, rest should be done today.

Will start now scanning the second patch, will up to same folder.

I'll later put the files to correct folders but not for few days.

awesome! you da man  :D
I've just finished all of the text, the upc and the Konami logo on the back.
I still have to finish the gray seal, seal of quality, and recycling logo.
I may upload a finished retail cover without screen caps (place holders) incase someone wants custom screen caps.
I will need some time to make exact screen captures.
The front of the box is 25%.
I should be finished in a day or two.

I've also started Brett Hull Hockey '95, E.V.O., Brandish, Final Fantasy 2, Warios Woods and Barbie Super Model covers.
Plus labels. I've already posted the Brett Hull Hockey '95 manual.

can't wait to get the Nipponese cover scans  :D

edit:
optimized png (just a preview, so please ignore dithering)

excellent scans  :D I am most happy today. I got Wacky Sports and SFC scans - w0oh0o
Will you be scanning the labels too?

I will upload my sfc master list when I am finished.
I have 1,011 photos of cartridges at 800x600 pixels and I am saving Nipponese text, code and developer data in a unicode text file.
the corresponding image name is also listed (so one can look at an image and reference its Nipponese text.)
I believe that the SFC collection is around 1,450 titles including Nintendo Power games, so I am just a few hundred short of a complete list.

I am taking a break. I have been awake for many hours now. I am getting slow and sleepy.
I intend to finish a horizontal and vertical with a cart label for Tiny Toons.
Actually, I may make a few verticals as I have some ideas for custom covers.

anyway, THANK YOU so very much for scanning and sharing the SFC games. You're irreplaceable. Good stuff.

By the way, I am making a custom NHL '95 cover just for you  :D the cover photo will show Esa Tikkanen of the Rangers.
a custom Suomi version  ;D

be back later.
I will fetch the other scans.
I make kafes now and stretch me legs.
