thanks for the ideas might try some xylene or IPA, if that doesnt work i could try some 2-butoxy ethanol if THAT doesnt work i'll move on to WD40 |

looked up lacquer thinner on wikipedia where it says they use, among other things, aromatic hydrocarbons like Toluene this led me to Xylene, which, coupled with some scraping, took that horrid stuff right off! now its ready for priming and repainting! thanks wiggy! |
