On the RARE topic, I love when posts are "OMG SUPER ULTRA RARE SUPER MARIO BROS DUCK HUNT RARE NES 8BIT GAME" and sell it for $1.

On price gouging, I am in high school, I brought my GBA SP with a copy of SMB Deluxe in and was plaing it in one of my classes, someone commented, "Wow, a Game Boy, that thing is so old it must be worth hundreds of dollars." He was a bit dumbfounded when I said it was worth $40 at the most. Some people just think because it is old it is pricy. Some people think stuff that is worth a bit is worthless, there was this kid i kinda hated in one of my classes, He had a SNES with some games, He sold me Super Mario Kart, Mario Paint and Super Mario World, all but SMW in very good condition, for $10. After the sale he kinda acted like he ripped me off.  ::)

I hear ya.  A friend of mine came over to borrow some games.  He noticed my Turbografx 16 and was like "Hey, that's Turbo, thingie.  Those are worth thousands.  Should have seen the disappointment when I explained how much it was really worth.

Halo 2 CE for $99? That's a steal compared to Halo 1 for $999.

I've made a habit of e-mailing sellers to let them know that they're asking price is way of. You know, just in case it's not selling. ;)

Hehe.  :)

I would say about 1/3rd. I simply respond back that I'm just trying to help them out and I try my best to be polite. I figure it's a win, win situation if they actually take my advice and try asking less until it sells.

True.  It doesn't hurt to help anybody out.
