Not a pickup but...
I found a Mario/Duck Hunt for $20!!! (so awesome, right? :D)
Seriously though, the guy did say that I could negotiate prices with him, but I really doubt he was going to accept a buck for it...
I mean, it was a pawn shop, but not even ebay lists it for that high .__. (now that I think about it, pretty much everything he had was over ebay prices...)

I hope it was obvious that I didn't actually buy it... (I'm not familiar with that quote/saying/whatever that is ;-;)

Man, just kept grabbing games off the shelves.  They had $1-2.50 buckets full of GBA games. This particular store keeps em all locked behind glass, so the poor bastard had to stand and watch me sort through about 200 GBA games to find some decent titles. Luckily there were some keepers ;)

Such a dumb system. Customers can't see what you're selling, customers won't buy what you're selling. The guy was like "yup, nobody ever bothers to look through these and hey just keep piling up". I used to manage this very store about 11 years ago and some of the lazy ass shit they do now kills me.  And they just don't care either. Oh well. Not my problem.

Yes I understood that.

And the saying means that it's not stupid to ask overly high price but to pay the overly high price.

Kinda having buyers remorse over New Super Mario Bros U...got it for 27.50 at my blockbuster that's closing down but I don't have a Wii U yet.  While I will get one eventually I don't know if I should just hold on to the game now or trade it in at GS towards a pre order I have.  :/

Do you intend on getting a Wii U? If so, keep it.

Yesterday I found a 1st run cartridge of "Revenge of Shinobi" for the Sega Genesis.  This is the version with unlicensed characters such as Spider-Man, Batman, Godzilla, & Terminator.  These characters were replaced or altered in later updates of the game, so the originals are very sought after, and easily command $50+.  Only cartridges released right at launch are unaltered - as you can imagine legal action was probably taken pretty quickly.

The best part is where I found it.  It was in my own collection, and I didn't even know I had it.  I bought a boxed copy a while back, but the box was a "Sega Classics" box which indicated a late revision of the game.  However, it seems that somewhere along the line a first-run cartridge got put in the late-run box.

I was reading a forum on Sega-16.com about ROS, so I decided to check mine out.  There's no way to tell simply by looking at the outside of the cartridge, so I popped it in, checked out the levels where the characters are, and received the good news.  I had never gotten around to playing it before, and because I always assumed it was the super common version (based on the box it was in), I never went out of my way to verify it.

Luckily, there's a nice original cover here that I used to replace the one it came with (since that one is no longer accurate).

I also got at Goodwill:

Keeping the manual to MKDD, selling the rest, it is my 3rd copy, but first with manual.
