Who is ready to be blown away?

Now the truely crazy part?
IT WAS ALL FREE!

My wife works with a guy who was a collector but wanted to reduce his collection. When he heard I was a collector he dumped all this on me and refused any money for it! We were at least successful in convincing him to let us take him and his girlfiend out to dinner and dessert. Now that was a meal I was all too happy to pay for.
My DS Cover Requests: Anno 1701, A Witch's Tale, A Witch's Wish, Black Sigil, Dynasty Warriors, Flower Sun and Rain, Mage Knight Destiny's Soldier, n+, Time Ace

That collector friend of your wifes' is truly a God among men.

That said, my burning jealousy for you right now could fuel an African country for a year or so.

@Blumpkin.  lucky on the PAX pass man.  4 day passes sold out in ten minutes.  and all day passes gone in less than 5 hours.  Nuts!!  I missed the opportunity.  But I live in Seattle so I will just buy from a scalper the day of the show when I get out of work (I work a block away from the convention center).  Also PM me when you get here maybe we can get together.

By time I got thru the queue 4-day passes were gone. I had to buy one of each day. But it's better then missing out, I hope you find a pass.

And I'll gladly have a beer or stand in a line with you! Isn't that what 80% of PAX is, standing in lines?  :D

Ah yeah, and I picked up these three SNES games from a Craigslist posting yesterday. $15 for the tree of them.

Dude, you could prolly sell the box for a couple hundred!

So, of course I hate you now :P But for real, great score!  I hope you get to enjoy them all at some point. There are some seriously great titles in there, as if you didn't know ;)

Yeah, the NES boxes are for the most part in great condition. I've already got a bunch of video game box protectors on the way.

But does anybody know what clear case will fit a Super Gameboy box? Sure it's pretty beat, but I'd like to case it to avoid further damage and it's too big for the regular SNES/N64 cases.

Clear PETG sheet (polyester). Not sure what MIL would be best. I'll measure some of the stuff I've made and let you guys know.  It's what they make those protective boxes out of ;)

@Blumpkin Minor note, but that Majora's Mask is the rarer "non collectors edition" version.  I think its kind of a little know fact about that game, the non collectors edition version is actually harder to find then the collectors version.  Box is missing the "collectors edition" text and the cart should have a normal sticker instead of the holographic one.

today, I picked up a Sega Nomad with battery pack for $40 and a Gameboy Mega Memory Card for $5.

I always found that to be rather peculiar. I guess they sold through the original "Collector's Edition" prints and there wasn't much of a demand for a second-print run.

Well, that and the game came out in late 2000.  N64 was discontinued in early 2002.  In fact, the only other major game I can remember coming out after Majora's was Conker's.  I could be wrong on this, but my guess is it didn't have a secondary run because it was one of the system's swan songs.  Kind of like how there most likely won't be a greatest hits for Skyward Sword on Wii.

I'm assuming that the non-collector's edition was the second run, though it could not have been as large as the initial run. Perhaps I'm wrong on this though and both the "Collector's Edition" and the standard edition were released at the same time? Was the "Collector's Edition" a pre-order bonus? I remember pre-ordering my copy and receiving the "Collector's Edition", but there are so many of them out there that it makes me wonder.
