Took advantage of the Best Buy deal on Batman today. I also got a cheap sports game for something other than to actually play or keep the game.

You make me jealous... I want Odin Sphere! It's okay though! My copy of Grim Grimoire and Odin Sphere are in the post! That makes me happy.

Congrats on the Kirby's Yarn! Bit jealous though, as I went to EbGames recently and they were still selling the game for near full price... DX

Oh well, I did pick up a few things myself:



I finally got a copy of More Friends Mineral Town (the GBA game) without selling an arm and a leg (everything came to about $22) Everything is a bit sticky for some reason but that shouldn't be too hard to clean...
Oh and Croc is now my very first PS1 game~ (not to mention the first I've ever played ha)

I remember Croc being so good back in the day but I got the Saturn version recently and it really didn't hold up very well.

Seriously, it's most likely a battery powered mem card. They're so volatile that just powering up the system can wipe em out.

Well, take it apart and see if it's using a battery to save files.  If it is, SERIOUSLY, trash it.   Nothing like losing a ton of save files to a crummy memory card

Yea, we had a crap shoot with the tax rate in British Columbia over the HST vs the PST and GST.... you can see who won.

Maybe that's the price you have to pay for "free" healthcare.

On topic - picked up an Hori SNES-style digital controller for Gamecube for $6.

the ps3 games altogether cost no more then 5 bucks...stranglehold ended up being a buck and some change.  The wii games were a bit more expensive coming out at about 10 bucks for both.

Tried to snag a God of War Ascension pre order bonus poster since they had a couple they were probably just gonna throw away...but the guy wouldn't give me one if I didn't reserve a game
