I'll ask my wife if such a creature even exists. She said you should be able to find it at your local dollar store. |

Also, try going over the marks with a dry erase marker. I know, it sounds crazy, but the way permanent markers work there's a bonding agent that makes the pigments stick to whatever surface it's written on. Dry erase markers use a bonding agent that is designed to wipe off and with sufficient application the old pigment will stick to the new bonding agent and wipe away. I may not have explained it well, but trust me, it works. I usually use a brown dry erase marker, and mark until the original (inevitably black) markings are no longer visible. Then wipe away, and presto! |

I just had the same issue yesterday, and my old standby of Goo Gone failed me. After a lot of rubbing over permanent marker I barely managed to even fade it slightly. I haven't tried dry erase marker yet, but that's my next trick. |

If 99% ISO won't take it off, then it's not likely that it's marker so much as nail polish or something else :( |

I never understood why people wrote their names on games. It's a shame, cause even if you manage to get the marker off, often times the cartridge has discolored, to a yellow or darker grey color, meaning that you'll always be able to see the slight difference. I would be tempted to replace the cartridge, but first I'd try what others have said. Good luck with that mate! Let us know how it goes! |
