Can't get marker off of a super nintendo cartridge

I think the key ingredient in Axe sprays is "slight burning sensation".

I've used Old Spice body spray to take marker off of some of my old game cartridges and it works amazingly well. I'm not sure if there's a possibility of damaging the plastic but I haven't had any problems with it. I've never tried using it on a label though and I probably wouldn't recommend it.

Heres an update guys..

i bought 91% alcohol and it didnt make it fade any either.

i am starting to think that it's nail polish..

i was told that alcohol won't remove nail polish.

But all the nail polish remover i can find has a key ingredient of Acetone.

Sad but true I'm afraid.  We all know how Acetone loves ABS too.  :-[  You're between a rock and a hard place here.  Depending on how bad it is.  You may find it easier to replace the shell.
