Retron 5 (aka 4)
TyrannicalFascist:
@JDavis - Hyperkin put out an update today that's supposed to address some of your issues including the GB screen cut off. I'm curious if your compatibility improves.

Saved onto the RetroN or the e-Reader? Because all the card-games can be stored onto the e-Reader...

Yep! Here's the changelog, if anyone's interested.. Of the games I previously had problems with, the following now work perfectly:
Famicom - Akumajou Special: Boku Dracula (Kid Dracula)
Famicom - Crisis Force
Famicom - Salamander
Genesis- Quackshot Starring Donald Duck
Mega Drive - Zero Wing
My copy of Quackshot actually pulls up as "Quackshot Starring Donald Duck Rev 1" on the system, so presumably they just didn't have the Rev 1 version in the system's database. Impressively, the savestates and such from when it pulled up as "Unknown Game" automatically carried over now that it was recognized.

That's great! I'm really glad to see they are going to support this system as they promised.
Some of the games you mentioned - WarioWare Twisted, GB Camera, Kirby Tilt n Tumble (and no doubt Yoshi Topsy Turvy/Universal Gravitation) would be pointless on the Retron, but I'm glad you checked them anyways. I do hope they fix the Sonic & Knuckles Lock-On sometime soon.
Now if I could just find one! I've called all my local game shops - 2 don't seem to know what the RetroN5 is (those shops suck anyways), 1 has no idea at all when they will get theirs in, and 1 says they think they'll get shipped some on June 6, because the FB picture said that was the release date though they haven't heard anything confirming that, but even then they think they'll only get 4... :-\
And there's no way I'm paying more than double for one online.

Onto the e-reader. I don't have a big collection of e-reader cards, but Manhole-e and Machop at Work do not bring up a prompt asking if you want to save it to memory (unless there is another way that I'm unaware of.) Air Hockey-e and NES games will.
