And I'm guessing Hyperkin sees this as their chance to really rise above their competitors and become THE retro hardware company. They're going to push their wireless controller, I'm sure.

I had 90 dollars of Amazon gift cards I didn't have a use for, so I'm gonna wait for my Amazon pre-order.

For those of us with Amazon pre-orders (unless they cancel all pre-orders and make you re-order the pre-order) the price change should not affect us, due to Amazon's pre-order price guarantee.

The wait sucks, but at least my Amazon preorder will save me almost half the price of the new msrp.
