I won't know for sure if this is real until the weekly ad comes out on Sunday, but it seems like it is.  If you've been waiting to pick up an XL like I have, check this out: http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/15/report-pikachu-3ds-xl-to-go-for-160-at-target-regular-3ds-13/

Ugh I'm getting a XL, but not till after the 1st. That deal ends on the 30th as far as I'm aware.

I'll probably end up doing this unless something better comes along.

Not going to happen - check CAG. That's not what their ad says and it's at best a pricing error and at worst just an idiosyncrasy with how their register system works.

I heard about the Toys R Us one too.  If that one IS real, it's only for the Pikachu, so if that's what you want that would be the way to go.  I think the rumor is that's also only on the 24th.  But I want a blue one (because there are no better choices... not even sure I want blue over red, but whatever) so I'll be taking advantage of the Target deal.  Only a few hours left before I can confirm this deal.

Looks like TrU deal is $170 + $20 gift card, effectively making it $150. I'm gonna head up there tomorrow morning I think :)

well they do price match everything, so curious if you can match target and get the 20$ card too

Its not bad if I get the mario kart 7 bundle, considering a lot of retailers are sold out of it and its now going for more than MSRP at most sites.
Then that plus a first party game nets me enough points for platinum status & a game & watch from club nintendo :P

You can get the Mario Kart bundle on Amazon for 230.  Better deal IMO, unles you want all that extra bonus crap that come with the "kit".

Dunno, the Sam's club package does't seem to be a deal AT ALL to me. You vs. buy the stuff separately for pretty much the same price :-\

All potentially new 3DS XL owners who love retro-style games may be interested to know that Renegade Kid's excellent sidescroller Mutant Mudds is on sale on the 3DS eShop this week.

Keep in mind that this title will also be coming to the Wii U in the future with additional content, but likely a higher price tag as a result.
