HELP! Opening a Sega Game Genie?
(1/2) > >>
ShoothimNow:
I recently bought a Sega Game Genie from the salvation army for $1.00.... and the sucker is DDDDIIIRRRRRRTTTTTYYYYYY.  I want to clean it out (from the inside-out), but there are no screws on it...  what is the trick to open this sucker up?

Anyone know?

**edit to keep my leet posts**
Usually you can feel a screw hole under the warning labels, this one doesnt seem to have any =(
segamer:
They are probably under the sticker but I don't know for sure. Just a guess.
Dr.Agon:
how original do you want to keep it?
if you just want it working you could crack open the case, then replace it with another when your done cleaning.

maybe its just clipped together or something?
Megatron:
I have the Game Genie with the BLACK label, not the gold, and the screws are underneath it.  I am 100% sure of this because my label is torn, slightly revealing one.  The other hole can be felt by smoothing running my finger over the label.  The black label version is a very thin sticker, like the labels on other games.   not sure if and how the gold version differs.
ShoothimNow:
There we go, I feel a couple screw holes on the front cover, on the bottom left and right corners.  Thanks guys, I really want to revive this =D
