2 questions about the PlayStation 3D Display
(1/1)
DarrienEmerald:
Been looking into this, and thinking that I may want to use the PlayStation 3D Display as the monitor for a custom arcade cabinet.  I was wondering if there was anyone that had one here that could answer two questions for me?

1. Pretty sure it is, but is the stand removable from the main display unit?
2. I know it's a 24 in screen, but could I get the actually physical dimensions of the entire unit, without the stand if possible?
Mick Dundee:
not sure about the stand. A friend of mine has one and I was jealous until I realized how few connections there were. No RCA, RGB. Only Hdmi and Component. If you want to use anything that requires them it will not do for you. (I use my Lcd for PC and games.)

I forgot, it also comes with No controller. PS3 remote will work and some Sony remotes. You might be able to program a universal one.

I'm guessing that he really only needs one input if he's planning on building it into a cabinet ;)
DarrienEmerald:
Yeah, the connections aren't an issue.  Mainly just going to be used for the cabinet itself; however, the spare HDMI and Component cables are going to be extended to the side of the cabinet with extensions so I can plug up an external source if needed/wanted.

I use 2 of these (got them for 99$ lol). The stand is removeable. Dimensions I will get ya when I get home
