I wonder if the Retron4 will be able to support chip games unlike its predecessors? I remember being heartbroken when I couldn't play Super Mario RPG. Made me immediately go out and buy a original snes lol |

There are many, some that will play on clones and some that will not. Made in Mexico copies tend to be 1.1 or 1.2 revisions that will not. That's probably what you have. If you're good at micro surgery, there's a mod you can do to bypass the game's built in lock out that keeps it from working on copying devices of the same vintage and modern clones. |
