RetroN 4 by Hyperkin
scarmullet:
I am interested in this device, especially if it plays GBA games well, as well as GB and GBC. Gameboy players are getting scarce....ok the devices are common enough, but the discs seem to be finding their way to Oz. $15 for a GB player, add $30 and you got the disc. If it works, it could be a nice alternative. Hell, doesn't the Super Gameboy work on the Retron 3? Even if the GBA slot cant play GB and GBC you can still play GB games through the super gameboy.
satoshi_matrix:
Given that existing GBA clones do not play GB and GBC, I doubt that the ReotrN4 will either. Still, Hyperkin has made no announcement about this, so it's only an educated guess.

Interesting console, I will have to wait and see how it performs tho, the HDMI thing has me a bit curious too
Also, the guy is selling multicarts using UGC's.... man these things are just gonna get more and more expensive

I'm definitely up for getting one of these for my lounge. Original consoles are in the games room, but would be great to get a quick fix in the lounge sometimes. And if gba can run at lose to full screen (I know it'll look terrible), I'd be a happy chappy.
Arseen:
NES, SNES and MD thru HDMI... tempting.
