Does anyone have any they would like to get rid of? I keep barely losing auctions on eBay and I have about 40 from when Animal Crossing GC was out and through Nintendo Power. If I knew it was going to be this hard to get a whole collection I would have spent the money back in 2003-2004. They have full sets on eBay for like $1500 and $5000.

So if anyone has any they would like to get rid of I will take/buy them from you. Let me know! ;D

I bought quite a few packs from Nintendo and online but never ended up with any duplicates strangely... once I got Ice Climber and Mario Bros. I was done. I do have some extra SMB3 ones lying around though.

Would you have any interest in selling the AC cards that you have?

I wish you the best of luck. I'm also (not actively) trying to complete my AC-e collection and it seems like it will be a rather expensive task. Pokemon-e, too.

Wow!  Full sets go for that much!  Yay!  ::hugs his full set::
Hm.  Looks like the only two complete completed auctions hit $800-$1000.  Still, nice.

Funny, one of the completed auctions and one of the listed auctions use an exact copy and paste of my card list FAQ.

They should give me 10% of the sale price. :D

I made a post on Nintendo Age that went completely ignored.

1. It should be possible to make custom e-Cards that give you Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros. (NES) in Animal Crossing
2. It's definitely possible to make "reproductions" of any card you want, if you have the scans for it. (All the dotcodes are online so if you just want a barebones way to get the NES games in AC, a black and white printing with just the dotcode on it should be really cheap. It's just paper.)

Doing a little more hacking work for #1 has definitely on my to-do list... for the past 2 years. Would anyone be interested? There was a project on some Mario forum or other regarding a complete set of the SMA4 e-Cards (including JPN cards converted to US editions). I don't know if it ever got printed. The cost was projected to be $30-$50 per set. I don't think they were fancy, either. Just dotcodes and maybe a title.

I would be interested.  I tried printing some out before and it didn't work =(.

I could scan some of mine, though I don't know what I have  ;D

*edit*
Who would have thought that I am an organized pack rat?  Found them within 30 seconds =S

*
Mario Party-e Card Game (Full set I think?)

* Pokemon
Gentelman Nils (though this is still in plastic and I don't want to open it)
Machop
Machoke
Machamp

* Animal Crossing
"Animal Crossing": It's time to move into Animal Crossing, the real-time game that is always playing - even when you stop! Available now! (Scan this card, man!)

Jumpman Mario (Design Card)

**Animal Crossing Character Cards
Bunnie (020)
Porter (003)
Rasher (027)
Cube (041)

*e-Reader Game & Watch Collection
Manhole

Air Hockey-e
Donkey Kong Jr. (1 of 5)
Donkey Kong Jr. (2 of 5)
Donkey Kong Jr. (3 of 5)
Donkey Kong Jr. (4 of 5)
Donkey Kong Jr. (5 of 5)

Again, I wouldn't know the best way to scan these suckers as the dots are so freaking tiny, but I could always try if anyone wants me to scan them.

---I just read doom's post, yeah, most are online, but I could atleast scan the cards for designs then =P

Also, dang it, you made me lose my 1337 posts, time to delete another random old one

From what I've read very few printers can print the dot codes well enough for the e-Reader to be able to scan them, but if you can you can access the levels the US didn't get in SMA4:SMB3-e. Sadly, you can't save all the levels. There aren't enough save slots in the game for every level released.

Would all JAP e-cars work with US SMA4: SMB3?
I mean does US version have all the same data as JAP games?

No. JP and US cards are different. CaitSith hacked them from JP region and title to English region and title.

I bet a professional-level printer can print the codes just fine. After all, random inkjets (laser printers?) seem to work.

So with hacked cards you can get all the stuff that Japanese would get on US SMA4 in English?

Yeah. You have to print them yourself though. :D It takes forever - much simpler to just download a save file for SMA4 and emulate it.
