Chubby Cherub Manual & Cartridge Scan
segamer:
I've had a good number of people asking for a Chubby Cherub cover. The cover image is complete and and has been past on to the Almighty Wolf to complete the back and spine. Here's a little preview.

Well if its such a terrible game, you can send me your copy anytime and Ill gladly take it off your hands! Ill keep it in my drawer, and youll never have to see it again. ;)
I had a copy of this a couple years ago but traded it to a friend. Of course this is when this game was worth nothing at all (maybe $5-10 at the time), and while I actually did enjoy it somewhat, it wasnt all that amazing either so I decided not to keep it. Then I find out that all of a sudden this game happens to be super rare. So naturally, I tried to see if I could get it back from the friend I traded it to, only to find out that his ex-girlfriend took a bunch of his games when they split up, and that must be one of them because its nowhere to be found.
Cause you know, just randomly showing up at home one day after beeing together for 2 years, to find out your girlfirend is leaving you because her parents bribed her into it isnt bad enough. So when he left the appartment understandably confused and upset, she decided to pack up all her stuff and her video games, and just helped herself to what ever she wanted of his games too, claiming they were hers. She probably thought "Oh! This game looks cute!" and took it! And I dont even think she had an NES. Fuckin bitch!
So yeah, Im still not too happy about that when I think about it. Now that game may spend the rest of its time rotting in the back of a cold bitches closet, which some may say is a good thing *cough* Wolf *cough* ;)
Maybe Ill find another someday.

I think we all have tragic gamer stories. It actually warrens it's own thread. My story is that my house was broken into three times (even after I put up a heavy volume of security measures). And my entire game collection was stolen. Trying to re-buy my collection has been a bitch.

LOL! Well sorry to hear your game ended in tragedy, but at least it wasn't an awesome game like Super C or Shatterhand that bit the dust.
That said, when the hell did this game become so goddamn expensive?! :o When I got my cart (sometime last year, don't remember when) it was still in the $15 range for nice copies (had to pay extra for the manual since that's always harder to come by than the cart). Now it's selling in the $30-$40 range? Still not outrageous (unless you base cost by quality ;) ) but damn. I know the box is one of the most sought after, but the cart has always been reasonable.
Edit:
It's up:

So glad I'm almost done collecting. Then I can just sit back and play games until my brain rots. :D

Great Job! Even though it's a game I'll probably never own (after reading what you guys have to say about it lol) I love seeing new covers being uploaded hoping that one day we'll complete the entire NTSC library
