I just found a box copy of the NES game Magic Darts.  Anyone willing to put a custom NES cover together for me?

I'll give some other artists a chance to do this. If no one claims it in a few days, I'll do it.

I know this is not the most exciting label to make, but I'll try one last time.

Anyone willing to hook me up?

OK, I'll do it. If it's not up in a few days, just send me a personal message.

I'll make a deal with you - I'll take care of Magic Darts if you'd be willing to USA-ify (not a word, but oh well ;) ) tik's Lolo 3 cover.  Basically I just need the front changed from the PAL to the NTSC version, and I can handle the back and spine(s):

It probably wouldn't take too much to do given how good you are at this kind of stuff, but it's beyond my skillset.

Scan the Manual for me BadChad. And Wolf, I've been meaning to ask you, for all the games listed on my thread, if you have the manual and cart, scan both for me.

OK Wolf. Deal.

Sweet!  I'll get started on Magic Darts tomorrow.

I've had the game for a few months, but only started playing it yesterday.  It gets hard quickly compared to the other two, but I love it.

Sure thing!  I'll get the scans up and PM you when they're done.  I also have the Lolo 3 manual if Chad hasn't gotten his scanned by then.

Me too Wolf, me too... ;)

Truth be told, I actually had some of those Void sticker across the Cover, Manual and Label of my CIB copy of Space Harrier II for the Genesis. Stupid store rental stickers. I was sitting on my shelf that way for about 2 years untill I decided to do something about it last week. These things are a pain in the ass as we all know, but they can be delt with with a little patience and the power of your thumb! I was always worried with the stickers beeing on the paper, that they'd just rip everything if I pulled them off. That was not the case.

Decided to take a chance to get them off. I somehow got lucky and very slowly peeled the Void sticker off the cart without any Void residue left behind! A miracle, I know! But of course, peeling them off the cover and manual without any damage, but they left that stupid silver "Void" residue behind, but thats where your thumb comes into play! The best method Ive found for removing the leftover void residue is to simply rub it off with your thumb. Ive done this several times with NES, SNES, and Genesis carts and it just balls itself up and comes right off. And of course you could use Goo Gone or something like that, but I find this works just as fast and doesnt leave a mess behind. But unfortunetly that wouldnt be such a good idea for Covers and Manuals. So I simply removed the stickers leaving the Void residue, and slowly and carefully rubbed the rest of it off with my thumb without inflicting any additional damage to the cover or manual!

Wish I had a before and after photo to show you guys. Maybe Ill do that when I attempt to remove the Void stickers from my Lolo 3 manual. Cause Im thinking about it now that Im confident I can get them off safely. So, there is hope. We can rise against the dreaded Void sticker! ;)

Fight the good fight, brother!  ;D  I got a freebie copy of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (the guy threw it in the box as an extra when I bought UBIsoft Last Crusade), which in addition to not working due to too much gunk between the contacts, it was also lathered with rental stickers, including a couple of those VOID stickers and one of those that has the metal strip underneath.  An hour or so of taking the cart apart and meticulously cleaning between each contact as well as soaking the stickers in isopropanol and the game looks and plays like new.  Fires up the in the toaster first time every time, and the cart looks like it came fresh out of the box (I was pleased I didn't stain the label at all when using the alcohol).  All this for a fairly cheapo game, but I always look at it fondly as a game I 'saved'. :)

Then there was the box I used for my Silkworm cover which had the most stubborn sticker I'd ever met on it.  I tried the thumb-rubbing thing which usually worked, but no-go.  I actually started rubbing the skin off of my thumb and the sticker was still on there.  I ended up taking a spray can of 3m adhesive removal which I used when I replaced the weatherstripping in my car and using that.  Whole damn room smelled like toluene for about two hours afterwards, and with it I was able to get most of the sticker off, but damn.  Whatever they made that sticker out of they could use to seal airplane windows.

Anyway, here's the Lolo 3 manual (and cart, in case you need it) scan, segamer.
