Me too Wolf, me too...

Truth be told, I actually had some of those Void sticker across the Cover, Manual and Label of my CIB copy of Space Harrier II for the Genesis. Stupid store rental stickers. I was sitting on my shelf that way for about 2 years untill I decided to do something about it last week. These things are a pain in the ass as we all know, but they can be delt with with a little patience and the power of your thumb! I was always worried with the stickers beeing on the paper, that they'd just rip everything if I pulled them off. That was not the case.
Decided to take a chance to get them off. I somehow got lucky and very slowly peeled the Void sticker off the cart without any Void residue left behind! A miracle, I know! But of course, peeling them off the cover and manual without any damage, but they left that stupid silver "Void" residue behind, but thats where your thumb comes into play! The best method Ive found for removing the leftover void residue is to simply rub it off with your thumb. Ive done this several times with NES, SNES, and Genesis carts and it just balls itself up and comes right off. And of course you could use Goo Gone or something like that, but I find this works just as fast and doesnt leave a mess behind. But unfortunetly that wouldnt be such a good idea for Covers and Manuals. So I simply removed the stickers leaving the Void residue, and
slowly and carefully rubbed the rest of it off with my thumb without inflicting any additional damage to the cover or manual!
Wish I had a before and after photo to show you guys. Maybe Ill do that when I attempt to remove the Void stickers from my Lolo 3 manual. Cause Im thinking about it now that Im confident I can get them off safely. So, there is hope. We can rise against the dreaded Void sticker!
