So... how much of a pain in the butt was it to consolize a game gear? I have been kicking around the idea of trying it. I know I need to get that TV out chip and I would probably try and build my own case of some kind but I would like to do a full video out with the biggest resolution I can get and 2 player controller ports (could get the ports from a genesis). |

I know I need to get that TV out chip and I would probably try and build my own case of some kind but I would like to do a full video out with the biggest resolution I can get and 2 player controller ports (could get the ports from a genesis). --- End quote --- actually it wasnt that hard, cant off the top of my head remember which outputs that board has, however, unless you have a good upscan converter you wont get full screen games on most GG games, a few (which are basically the master system rom on a GG cart) will show full screen, but the rest will have borders as for 2 player, never properly looked into it, its do-able, but i have no interest in that... this reminds me, i really should get around to posting pics of the finished mega gear. |
