e_brugal:

Nop, the guy i was going to ask moved to another city and i don't have his number, so i'm looking for another oone

Dr.Agon:

oh well!, good luck with the search...

...however, if you dont find anyone, I could probably put it together for You for around £50-60, shipping might be a little on the high side though, dont know, never sent anything to the Dominican Republic...

anyway, back to the current project;

this is the controller I've converted, got it with the crystal xbox I got for the xbox PC, it was broke so I decided I'd put it to good use here...

and this is what I'll be using as the plug/socket;

its an ipod connection, soldering to those little pins should be FUN !

A little project i'll be doing that may interest you aswell Dr. Argon

I'll eventually be doing a "Master Gear" mod but in the opposite way of Dr. Argon. I have 3 working Game Gears so i have no qualms about ripping it apart for this  ;D

Basically its replacing the LCD with a modern one and permanently hooking up a 'Gear Master' converter. It lets you play Master System games on the game gear. The Game Gears LCD obviously uses a different resolution so it squishes the Master System games to fit. Replacing the LCD with a modern screen alleviates this problem.

They are pretty cheap too (here is a quick listing for reference)

Dr.Agon:

cool!, then it really will  be a portable master system!

keep us updated on that one dude!

Dr.Agon:

wow, has it really been 2 months?

anyway, now that I have some soldering flux, I can start to revive this project on Saturday
