Now that I'm looking up prices, I don't feel as great about the pickup.

Lot's of $2-5 stuff it seems, and I paid about $2.57 per cart.  I have no clue about NES game value because it's been so long since I collected, and this guy just wouldn't provide a list so I could check.  Lesson learned I suppose.  Still, I don't fee like I got screwed, just not a rally great deal :-\

I don't plan on trading/selling a ton of it.  Mostly just the doubles and some of the sports stuff.  Luckily it's mostly stuff that I'd be happy to have on my shelves.  I really wanted to grab it to kicks start my NES collection again and give me an excuse to make NES covers, which I've been DYING to do :)

Are you planning on selling them or doing something else with them?

I think you need new maths :P  (there are 70 games)

In my opinion, $2.57 per cart is not too shabby at all. Perhaps it's based on my location, but I rarely find NES games for less than $5, despite the title. There just must be something about living in Canada that makes gaming more expensive (*sigh* Darksiders II Wii U deal at American Best Buys).

Why is it that so many people seem to own Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, yet not the first or third game? That always makes me wonder. Anywho, there are plenty of titles in there that I think would make a solid base for an NES collection. Black Box games like Baseball, Ice Climber, Pinball, Soccer, Super Mario Bros. and Gyromite, Nes Play Action Football and NES Open Tournament Golf, Castlevania II, Double Dragon 2, Blades of Steel, Solar Jetman, The Tecmo Bowl games, The Ninja Turtles games, Tiny Toon Adventures, The Track and Field games, Commando, Strider, Spy Hunter, Super Spike V'Ball  -- all titles I would be happy to have in my collection.

And of course, you can always use the shells of the games you don't want for something else.

when I bought that mega craigslist find last year I ended up selling 200 unique nes games, 5 boxes of 40 and all were random titles. each box sold between 75-110 each so you did ok depending on what you plan to do with them all.

so, new game pickup... cant tell you how excited I am to play this

sniperlobster:

Just picked up my Bioshock as well and installing it as I type! Bought it at Toys R Us since they had buy 1 get 1 40% off so I picked up Luigi's Mansion as well.

Also Wiggy crack open those Gyromites to see if there are any Famicom Adapters in them!
