So, Finally I've acquired a pick up I'm proud of.

All dis, foh 50 dollahs:

Super Nintendo System (1 controller, cords, working) with the following games:
-Zelda-A link to the past
-Super Mario World
-NHL 96 (according to some as penisy and not worthy of inclusion)
-Mario is Missing!
-Final Fantasy II
-Final Fantasy III
-Chrono Trigger

Thanks peeps,

I had the system, but now I can take this SNES and give it a home up north for when I'm bored at my summer cottage.  :)

I mean, Chrono Trigger, FF2 and FF3, Link to the Past all for under about 7ish dollars is ridiculous.

Y'all would have to wait for my epic purchase soon: 22 N64 games for 40 bucks.  (In the set will be Megaman 64, Castlevania Legacy of Darkness, Mario Party 2, Starcraft 64, Banjo Tooie and many others)

Wanna get banned for making me jeallous dude...

Damn you are lucky.

There is only one store that sells old or used games and its collection is hyper small for games before PS2 era.

Damn, Gdubs! You are on a roll! That upcoming N64 package sounds SUH-WEET.

I'll be meeting with my game guy in the next day or two. He's been cleaning out his storage units. I picked up a copy of Panic Restaurant from him for $10 about a year ago. Hope to have a few things to post in the thread soon myself.

I think Gdub should get an honorary mention in the next pickup thread. Seriously, wow.

(However, stay far far away from Mega Man 64; If you want to play Mega Man Legends, get the PS1 version)

Yeah I want Legends, but I'm also trying to complete a full 296 N64 collection.I've got around 60 at the moment, most being the harder to find titles.

Come at me bro!  ;D  Naw everyone has their day.  For me, I have the balls to low ball and haggle like a sorcerer, and thus using my knowledge, knock their price down over and over and over.  Also a good tip is when you negotiate a price at a flea market or garage sale, pull out how much you want to pay in cash (say, 5 bucks) and say how's (enter number of dollars) sound.

Works almost every time.

And that's how I got my Aquarius computer system boxed for 5 bucks.

I'm so close to attempting this as well.  I have about 95% of the more expensive titles (about 60 games as well), so it wouldn't bee too hard at all.  I could prolly swing the rest of the collection for 2-3K.  It's so achievable and will make me feel better about NEVER being able to come close to owning every SNES game that I want unless the market goes total bust.

You would say that LOL! ;D

My local Exchange stores seem to have received a ton of N64 trade-ins lately.  LOTS of commons that I don't have in the $1-5 range.  Stuff that won't make me cringe when I buy and think about putting in my collection (i.e. NON sports titles).  So tempting...
