Nzdjh's Personally Modified Covers
(1/2) > >>
Nzdjh:
Hey all, I've been working on these for the past week or so and I've finally finished covering all of my SNES games (that I own right now, at least). If you're anything like me, you love to show off all your games in awesome-looking cases on your shelf (I think pretty much everyone here does considering that's the whole point of this site). However, if you're anything like me you're also mega OCD when it comes to this kind of stuff and sperg out at the slightest inconsistencies in your covers. As great as the covers offered on this site are, things like spelling errors and minor inconsistencies between different covers have bugged the heck out of me to the point of driving me to put together my own modified versions. I've basically made it an effort to make all of my covers as consistent as possible with all of the text spellchecked and all of the proper information filled out on the cover correctly. The game descriptions have been re-typed, images re-sized and re-positioned, and other minor tweaks.

Now as much as I like the traditional vertical SNES template that most people use here, I'm actually more fond of Wiggy's SNES template. It's a little cleaner and more minimalist than the default vertical SNES template, so I decided to base my covers off of his template. The template has been slightly modified for my own personal preferences, but make no mistake that the template I use is entirely based off of Wiggy's and thus he deserves all credit for it. Likewise, all of the artwork, screenshots, game descriptions, etc. has simply been taken from already-existing covers on this site. I have no intention of claiming any of this as my own work. I simply put it together in a consistent manner for my own personal use and felt that I might as well share with everyone else in case anyone is interested in using them. Where possible I will credit whoever made the original cover I based my cover off of as well as providing the source from where I obtained it.

First, in case anyone is interested in using my template to make their own cases for games I haven't made (my collection is quite small and missing many important games), here is the template that I have been working off of. Again, it is a modified version of Wiggy's SNES template taken from his template thread and thus he deserves all the credit. I simply made some small tweaks to it to fit my own preferences.

Any SNES games I obtain in the future I'll make covers for and add to the list. And if anyone has any specific requests for games they'd like covers for I'd be happy to make them.

Next up will be N64 covers following a similar template. I'll post those when I'm finished.
Seraph Man:
Hell, if you think you can tackle Ren and Stimpy: Veediots! and Dino City, I'd be grateful. They're the only two SNES games I don't have covers for.
wiggy:
I see what you did there ;)

That'll make sticking original art on the front a LOT easier!  You're off to a great start.  Keep 'em coming!

As long as you don't mind them following my custom template I'll see what I can do.
