I completely redid metroid a while back so that one is good to go. I remember replacing our Super Mario Bros. cover with a vectored cover. Can't remember off hand who redid it (I'm on my phone).

I have an almost finished Soccer but I'm stuck since some of the snapshots are from prototypes... I'm not using Shenske's template, I'm rebuilding from personal 600 dpi scans a 1:1 digitalization. Here's a preview:

Well, there is a vector cover in there, but it is mis-credited to me for some reason, because I did not make it. BTW, did you ever get to uploading covers I actually made?

EDIT- I went through all the covers on the site, updated list to whats needed.
I'll vector the front if someone else will help with the rest.

i'm interested in doing the PAL-B black/grey boxes with jap artwork (popeye, kid icarus, etc). problem with those is they're all square, so i need to come up with a standard rectangular layout that uses the elements from #1 here, laid out more like #2 without using all it's elements/fonts, to make something like #3 but without the rental company logos and info.

it's not a huge ordeal, but i wanna get the design done just right. here's what i have as of now

I've made NTSC versions of Urban Champion and Clu Clu Land.
Unfortunately I haven't gotten much interest...

UC doesn't need to be vectored (in my opinion) but Clu Clu certainly does.

Check them out here:

I wish I wasn't so busy lately. I'd love to help with these. I had a lot of fun doing stack up. Something really satisfying about recreating an entire cover in vector.

I'm interested trying to vector one of these games.
I figured I'd take a stab at Clu Clu Land, as I've already converted it to NTSC and of the conversions I've done (Clu Clu, Urban Champion, and Popeye) it seems to need it the most.

Is anyone who is obviously more skilled than me in vectoring interested in sharing some tips?
I'm pretty skilled at Photoshop. I wouldn't try to do it professionally or anything, but I can certainly get the job done.
From the tutorials I've seen, you just basically use the vector toolset and trace over the original image, trying to adjust the color pallet as close to the original material as possible. - is there anything I should look out for, like anything that will speed up the process or make it look better?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Use illustrator if you have it.

Turn on grid
Turn on "snap to grid"
Import JPP/GIF/PNG/whatever file you have of the cover
Scale it so that each "pixel" of the cover art graphic is the size of one square of the grid
Make a square object that size and just repeat it as many times as you have pixels to make
